CSI-LIMNOLOGY Workshop - Trout Lake 2013

Thanks to the Trout Lake staff for an AMAZING northwoods experience! They even planned for particularly frigid sub-zero temperatures for us to experience the true northwooods.
More pictures and thanks coming.... once pictures are downloaded.
Thanks for the awesome hats Emily S!

ASLO Japan 2012

Several folks from the CSI Limnology group presented at the summer ASLO conference held at Lake Biwa, Japan. John Downing, the ASLO president, opened the conference by smashing a sake barrel lid with a wooden mallet.  In between sessions we were able to gaze out on to Lake Biwa, the largest freshwater lake in Japan that supplies drinking water to over 15 million people in the region. We also enjoyed experiencing Japanese culture and food!

AND, thanks to MANY more of you!

We also want to thank ALL the rest of you who have provided data to us so far in this project. We could not pull this effort off without you. We just started our blog, so we didn't get a chance to thank you yet. We will be posting names of those who have provided data shortly! Bear with us as we develop our website and functionality. We are presently buried in data values, metadata, lat/lon values, etc. Such a fun place to be!

Thanks to Steve Hamilton

Thanks to Steve for providing extensive water chemistry data from a large number of SW Michigan lakes! Appreciate the excellent database and the efforts.

Thanks to Al Steinman

Just spoke with Al and he is willing to share data on Muskegon, Mona and Spring lakes in Michigan!
